I totally didn't measure. Just guessed what size an 8 year old should be since all our shies were gifts and I never had to look at sizes. Was worried it would be too big but the size 2 fit amazing! Some room in the toes but they are sturdy and look amazing. Love the simple style with just a bit of embellishment on the top. Cute cute cute!
